Introduction to the course

The background

This series, each with two guided meditations or inner journeys, is designed to help you on your path of spiritual growth. Whether you regard yourself as a beginner or as someone already well along your path, these meditations can take you into beautiful inner spaces and create profound shifts. As you listen Sananda is transmitting frequencies specifically for you at your current stage of growth.

The series introduces many beings and states of consciousness that can assist you on your journey of enlightenment. Even where these are familiar to you, you may find fresh insights and a deeper sense of connection developing for you as you use these inner journeys.

Heaven on Earth also offers further courses that build on this series.

Introduction from Sananda

Dolphins are amongst your closest friends on Earth. For all your difference you share much. You complement each other in your desire to see a healing for humanity and through that healing help for all life on Earth. As you may discover in these inner journeys there are certain qualities of light that dolphins find easy and natural to hold in their consciousness that can also be of great benefit to you. In you these qualities have been dormant, but as many have found in connecting physically with dolphins they can be easily awakened.

Wonderful though it may be to swim in the company of dolphins, it is not the only way in which you can enjoy their presence. Here are two inner journeys that enable you to connect inwardly and develop a beautiful relationship that you may find again in your daily life whenever you might choose to pause and invite this friendship to renew itself in the present moment.

You have power that the dolphins do not have. You can act in the world in ways they have chosen not to. You can manipulate matter. They can share a joy with you that helps you love and accept yourselves, so that what you shape, you may shape more readily with love. You are coming into a time of new forms of cooperation. Sharing consciousness with other species can enrich your life and theirs.

Introduction from Christopher

The special relationship between dolphins and humans has long been recognised by many peoples.  For instance, the Aborigines of the Gulf of Carpentaria believe that they are descended from the dolphins.  On the other hand the Greek poet Oppian, writing nearly two thousand years ago, thought dolphins were descended from men:

Diviner than the dolphin is nothing yet created, for indeed they were aforetime men and lived in cities along with mortals, but by the devising of Dionysus, they exchanged the land for the sea, and put on the form of fishes: but even now the righteous spirit of men in them preserves human thought and human deeds.

Stories of their friendliness and of the help they have given to swimmers and sailors in trouble are found in many places around the world.  The Roman writer Pliny the Elder tells the story of a boy who would call a dolphin to him by name, ‘Simo, Simo’.  The dolphin would then give him a ride across the bay to school.  This continued for several years and then the boy fell ill and died of a fever.  But the dolphin still turned up for the boy, until it also died ‘quite undoubtedly from longing’, Pliny says.

Clearly dolphins are very intelligent, though scientists have so far found it difficult to assess that intelligence.  Douglas Adams wittily expressed the dilemma in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy:

Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much – the wheel, New York, wars and so on – whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man – for precisely the same reasons.

Here is one account from many that suggest dolphin intelligence:

In a dolphinarium one of the attendants liked to slip away for a quiet smoke in a passageway at the side of the pool.  A young dolphin, still not weaned, grew intrigued by this and would come and watch the smoker through the glass wall. After studying him intently she went to her mother to suckle, and then swam back to the glass and blew out a mouthful of her mother’s milk to form a smoke-like swirl in the water.

Over the last few years the dolphin’s capacity to bring healing has come to public attention.  There have been many cases of people with depression, for instance, finding themselves cheered and calmed by contact with dolphins.  It seems that some dolphins have been seeking out human company and welcoming the chance to interact with us.

These meditations offer another kind of contact, an opportunity for you and a dolphin to share consciousness, light and love on the inner planes. Whatever your own beliefs about dolphins, I suggest you enter these meditations with the intention of meeting an equal, another aspect of the All That Is – a  dolphin friend, as Sananda says.

The inner journeys

A reminder: Do not listen while driving.
Since these meditations may take you into deep states of relaxation, do not listen to them when driving or doing anything, such as operating machinery, that requires you to be alert and focused on the outer world.

Before listening, choose a time when you can be relaxed and undisturbed for about half an hour.  Notice your posture; sit with your spine comfortably erect.  If you prefer, you can listen lying down, again with your spine comfortably straight.  As you listen you will be receiving many transmissions of light and love from Sananda.  After a journey finishes you may like to spend a few minutes absorbing your experiences as you come back fully to the outer world.  Listening to these inner journeys several times is likely to enhance their effect.  Trust your intuition in choosing when and how often you listen to each one.  You’ll find further suggestions in the What’s next? section.

Track 1: Dolphin Heart

Sananda guides you and a dolphin friend to meet as two beings of light. Your dolphin friends helps you to experience the heart centre and the light of grace as it does.

Track 2: Dolphin Star

One of the Ophanim Angels, whose purpose is to help you know yourself more fully as the creator of your reality, introduces you to the network of light that the Ophanim hold around the planet.

What’s next?

After you’ve listened to these inner journeys, you may like to practise connecting with your dolphin friend without the recordings.  Give yourself time (perhaps longer than when you are using the recordings) to become centred and relaxed.  Though your mind may not become completely still, let your thoughts settle.  As in any relationship, respect for the other is important. Inwardly invite your friend to draw closer. When you have a sense of your invitation being accepted, begin to let your light merge with that of your friend. Notice what this feels like. As the connection is based on the sharing of light and love, you may experience it as quite abstract. Give yourself time to explore the relationship without expectations and preconceptions.  As you explore, the relationship will deepen.

You may like to follow up your interests with further related Heaven on Earth courses.
