Key Qualities: Joy, Non-attachment, Playfulness
Think of the star spinning out joy. You might imagine the star as holding open a door to planes of light where infinite joy resides. Regulus does not so much resolve issues or disentangle energies as offer another way of being, a reminder perhaps of an earlier stage of existence altogether, where complexity does not need to slow us down, but can simply exist. Because it helps us allow life to be complex or simple without preference, it helps us recognise that it is our stance to reality that decides whether it is complex or not. Regulus communicates with the heart especially (perhaps it is no chance that the star marks the heart of Leo), but there can be a strong influence on the third eye too, encouraging us to see without prejudice or attachment. At this time there is a certain state of consciousness that the star is broadcasting to us, which might be summarised as the foundation of joy. So there can be a sense of clearing away the irrelevant, the ‘yes, buts’ that our mind may like to come up with, and an encouragement to allow easiness in our lives.
