Twin Lives

This is a little girl and she’s talking about her world:

I’m always in another place as well as this one. As soon as I close my eyes I see it clear as day. Even when my eyes are open I know I am there too.

This is the world I come from. Coming here to Earth is a special mission, a big honour, and I have a job to do here. It is to keep knowing my other world and telling people about it so they can enjoy this world as much as I enjoy the one I came from.

I have two bodies — one here and one there. And they both do things in their own way and I let them. There I am old, but I feel young, and I’m a woman too. I spend a lot of time out in a great big garden, bigger than any garden here on Earth. Really there it is all garden except for the sea.

I love that garden so much. It cuddles me, because it loves me too. Me there sees me here, and sends me love all the time and I put that love where people will find it. When I’m with my Mum I put love everywhere we go, in the street and the shops — everywhere. I put it in dollops, as it works best that way. I watch people walking into a dollop of love and smiling, but they don’t know why!

When I’m bigger and go to school, I shall do something different. I’m going to put love into the books we read and the computers and the teacher’s tea, so she is all smiley.

Then we learn easily and have time to play. People here don’t know how important playing is. It is the most important thing. Other me in my garden is playing with the world. All we ever do there is find love and throw it to each other. Everything is alive and singing all the time. That’s another thing people don’t know here.

You can find out everything you need to know by listening to the song of each thing. Putting love into the books at school will help them sing. Everything you love will sing to you. Then you can learn from it.

Other me brings presents to everyone I love. I can feel you reading this and I love you. Other me has been gathering up presents for me here to give. She’s been gathering them up for ages for this time because everyone’s having a birthday here on Earth and we want to give them presents.
